New Smyrna Beach’s annual progressive St. Patrick’s Day celebration along Flagler Avenue called Shamrock and Roll returns for a weekend full of activities for the Irish and Irish at heart. Saint Practice Days will take place Friday – Sunday, March 14-16 with food and drink specials, party favors and multiple entertainment performances.
Shamrock and Roll activities on March 17th begin at noon with full Irish menus, bagpipes, and Irish-themed entertainment. The $500 Pot O’ Gold Treasure Hunt runs from 6pm to 9pm with participants collecting items off of a set scavenger list to qualify for a $500 “Pot O Gold” drawing. The Treasure Hunt entry tent will be located on the corner of Flagler Avenue and Cooper Street. Again this year’s Pot O’ Gold will cost $10 to register to play but all items will be free at each location.
The Pub Crawl portion of the party kicks off at 6pm with live entertainment, party favors, drink specials and plenty of green beer among the Avenue’s night spots.
Participating businesses include Atlantis Bistro, Breakers, Barracuda’s Bar & Grille, Café Heavenly, Café Verde, Clancy’s Cantina, Famous Philly’s, Flagler Tavern, Gnarly Surf Bar, Manzano’s Fine Foods, OM Bar & Chill Lounge, Peanuts Restaurant & Sports Bar, Tayton O’Brian’s, That’s Amore, Toni & Joe’s Patio, and Trader’s Sports Bar among others.
