2019 Mardi Gras Queen Jenny Norado
2019 Mardi Gras Queen Announced
We are delighted to honor FABA Treasurer Jenny Norado as QUEEN of the Mardi Gras this year! Thank you, Jenny for serving Flagler Avenue for over 20 years!
Jenny Norado, a Volusia County resident for 20 years and owner of TaDa Gallery since 2005, has worked to preserve the 35 year legacy of the gallery as a venue for New Smyrna Beach artists to show and sell their work.
Before coming to New Smyrna Beach, she studied music at Gettysburg College and worked professionally as a singer in both pop and gospel music for 10 years.
As a member of our Flagler Avenue family, she has served on Board of Flagler Avenue Business Association for 3 years as Treasurer. And as a co-founder of Wine Walk has worked with the Hospitality Group to promote street events and Wine Walk on the Avenue.
An advocate for local up and coming artists, she presents the TaDa Gallery Award annually at the Artists’ Workshop Luncheon, has offered individual direction and gallery support to many new local artists in our community and chooses local artists to be featured at Seaside Fiesta annually with their artwork becoming a part of the history of NSB at the New Smyrna Beach Historical Museum.
You can see Jenny leading our 13th Annual Mardi Gras Parade, this Tuesday, March 5, at 7pm along Flagler Avenue. Stand when she passes friends, a true Queen is passing by!
